Description
Michael Collins was an Irish revolutionary leader, politician, and soldier, instrumental in Ireland's fight for independence. A key figure in the 1916 Easter Rising and the subsequent War of Independence, he helped negotiate the Anglo-Irish Treaty of 1921. Collins later became Chairman of the Provisional Government and Commander-in-Chief of the National Army. Tragically, he was assassinated during the Irish Civil War in 1922, leaving a lasting legacy as one of Ireland's greatest patriots.
