Woodvale Cemetery is a historic non-denominational cemetery at 7535 Engle Road in Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Established in the 1850s, it is a union cemetery jointly owned and operated by the cities of Middleburg Heights and Berea. The two municipalities agreed to its joint operation under a board of cemetery trustees in 1931. The grounds extend along Engle and Fowles roads near Big Creek Parkway and include approximately 36 acres, about 20 of which are developed. Burial options include traditional full-size interments, cremation burials, above-ground cremation spaces, and a veterans section. The cemetery office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while visiting hours are from dawn to dusk.
