Description
Templeogue Cemetery, located in Dublin, contains a Commonwealth burial from the 1939-1945 war. The site features a late 13th-century chapel in an old graveyard, part of a modern cemetery. The chapel, originally annexed to the Church of Kilsantan, fell into ruin by the 17th century, with only the east and west gables remaining, along with parts of the north and south walls. A plain lintelled window is visible in the east wall. The graveyard also includes a medieval graveslab to the southeast, known as the Hollywood Graveslab, which features a plain Latin cross, and a limestone slab to the north with a pecked outline cross.
