Description

Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries is a Jewish cemetery and mortuary at 6150 Mount Sinai Drive in Montaire, Simi Valley, Ventura County, California. The Simi Valley park opened in 1997 as a second Mount Sinai location, extending burial capacity for the Southern California Jewish community. Mount Sinai has been owned and operated by Sinai Temple of Los Angeles since 1964 and provides cemetery, mortuary, chapel, and traditional Jewish funeral services. Burial options include ground spaces, private family estates, outdoor wall crypts, and the Teva natural-burial area. Teva is a Green Burial Council-certified site using biodegradable containers or shrouds, no concrete vaults or liners, and natural stone memorials. The park is open Sunday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed Saturdays in observance of Shabbat. ([mountsinaiparks.org](https://mountsinaiparks.org/about-us/?utm_source=openai))
