Description
Lakeside Cemetery is located at 920 Nininger Road in Hastings, Dakota County, Minnesota.
It was organized in 1867 after local women sought a new burial ground for the community.
The cemetery is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization managed by a volunteer board of trustees.
Its grounds have expanded from 13 to 34 acres and contain the graves of more than 5,500 people, including over 500 veterans.
