Description
Killedan graveyard is situated roughly two miles from Kiltimagh. The 8th-century cell and 12th-century parish church, which was originally thatched, were restored in 1992, with efforts made to preserve the original stone. In 1779, parish priest Thaddeus O'Flaherty constructed a replica of the original cell, which now holds a 13th-century coffin tombstone. An annual Mass is held at the site every year at the end of July.
