Johnstown Cemetery - Johnstown - Kilkenny - Ireland

This cemetery is located on the outskirts of Johnstown village. It was originally photographed in 2012, but some gravestones were not included at that time. In recent months, I revisited the site, captured images of the previously missed stones, and reviewed records of deaths from the past few years.

As of May 9th, 2017, a total of 681 individuals are buried in this cemetery. Forty-two of them have two first names, while the rest have one, and 36 include nicknames alongside the first name. One gravestone features inscriptions in the Irish language, and a total of twelve individuals have first names written in Irish. The oldest gravestone bears the date 1894.
