Description
Goldenbridge Cemetery, founded by Daniel O'Connell and the Dublin Cemeteries Committee in 1828, was the first cemetery to fulfill his vision of providing dignified burial space for people of all faiths and none. Located in Inchicore near Dublin's city center, it is the smallest cemetery in the Dublin Cemeteries Trust, covering just two acres. A Victorian Garden cemetery, it features mature trees and a prominent central monument, creating a peaceful, almost rural atmosphere.
