Glenkeen Old Graveyard, located in Borrisoleigh, County Tipperary, is one of Ireland’s most historic burial grounds, with memorials dating back to 1632. The site reflects Ireland's history, including events like the Penal Laws, the Great Famine, and the Fenian Rebellion of 1867. In May 2018, the Ormond Historical Society organized a guided tour, featuring an unveiling of an information board with a detailed map of the site and talks about notable individuals buried there. The event included dramatic performances, music, and storytelling to bring history to life. Attendees were encouraged to enjoy the peaceful setting with picnics, making it a memorable community gathering.
