Description
Forest Park Cemetery is located at Fourth Street and Range Line Road in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri.
It has existed since 1884, initially under private operation and ownership, before the City of Joplin acquired it in 1988.
The northern section, known as Old Baptist Cemetery, contains burials dating to the early 1870s.
The cemetery also includes a five-story mausoleum for above-ground interments and is maintained as a municipal cemetery.
