Description
Cedar Grove Cemetery is located at 809 S Henry Street in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Established on November 15, 1859, it is owned by the City of Williamsburg and managed by its Public Works and Utilities Department.
The cemetery occupies about 20 acres and includes a memorial garden for cremation burials.
Approximately 250 Confederate soldiers were buried in a common grave there after the Battle of Williamsburg in May 1862.
