Description
Calvary Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery at 5239 West Florissant Avenue in St.
It was established as an archdiocesan cemetery in 1854 and is administered by Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of St.
The grounds received reinterments from several older burial grounds as St.
Louis expanded and cemeteries within the city closed.
It remains part of the region’s historic Catholic burial landscape.
