Description

Bluebell cemetery, with early references dating back to 1254, was originally part of the Drimnagh Castle estate and later belonged to the parishes of Clondalkin and St. Michael's, Inchicore. The area was rural until the 1950s, when Dublin City Corporation developed it into housing, followed by industrialization, including paper mills using the Camac river.
