Blaine Cemetery – Whatcom County – United States

Blaine Cemetery is located at 4175 H Street Road in Blaine, Whatcom County, Washington, and is owned and operated by the City of Blaine. The cemetery association was formed in spring 1888, and the first documented burial was Aretas Whitcomb in June of that year. After periods of control by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the cemetery association, ownership, records, and other holdings were transferred to the city on December 17, 1934. The city now maintains the approximately 7.8-acre cemetery, while the City Clerk’s Office oversees records, lot sales, and burial arrangements. Its layout includes an older section comprising Sections 1–4 and a newer section comprising Sections 5–6.
