Valley Creek Cemetery – Hueytown – Jefferson County – United States

Valley Creek Cemetery is in Hueytown’s Virginia Mines community, Jefferson County, Alabama, at approximately 3088–3117 Virginia Drive, west-southwest of Hueytown City Hall. Also known as Valley Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, it is associated with the former Valley Creek Baptist Church site; the church’s first building stood in what is now the cemetery’s older section. A municipal cemetery survey completed in March 2001 documented approximately 1,032 markers with names, with the earliest reported marker death date belonging to Vance in 1861.
