Description
Grandview Cemetery is located in Oaklawn Addition at 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike in Maryville, Blount County, Tennessee. The cemetery was established in 1922, when the State of Tennessee chartered the Grand View Cemetery Company and local founders acquired approximately 90 acres of the Stephens family farm. Its first recorded burial was William Edgar Graham, pastor of New Providence Presbyterian Church, on June 21, 1923. The original farm’s 1886 log cabin reportedly served as the cemetery’s first office and remains near the Wilkinson Pike entrance. Some graves were later relocated here as Tennessee Valley Authority projects reshaped nearby communities. The cemetery maintains an online grave-search service, and its office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ([interment.net](https://www.interment.net/united-states/tennessee/blount-county/maryville/grandview-cemetery.php?utm_source=openai))
