Description

Village Church Cemetery is located in Charlotte Court House, Charlotte County, Virginia, beside the historic Village Presbyterian Church. The church congregation was organized in 1825, and the present brick church was built around 1837; the adjoining burial ground was established as a “burying ground for the Village forever.” ([cchgs.net](https://www.cchgs.net/charcountysketches.html?utm_source=openai)) The cemetery contains gravestones dating from the 1840s to the present and is identified in the Charlotte Court House Historic District documentation as the town cemetery.
