Description
Saint Casimir Catholic Cemetery is located at 4401 W. 111th Street in Chicago’s southwest side. A Catholic cemetery also known as Saint Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery, it was consecrated in 1903 and established to serve Chicago’s Lithuanian Catholic community at the suggestion of the pastor of Saint George Parish. The grounds are particularly noted for the quality of their individual family monuments. The cemetery office also serves several other Catholic cemeteries in the South Side and nearby suburbs, including Saint Gabriel and Sacred Heart cemeteries. Burial indexes document veterans and other interments, and records can assist with genealogical research. For cemetery-office inquiries, the listed telephone number is 773-239-4422.
