Description
Riverside Cemetery is a public cemetery at 3400 Fifth Avenue in Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois.
The Moline Cemetery Association was incorporated on February 17, 1851, and the cemetery was later expanded under city administration.
In 1874, landscape architect William Le Baron Jenney designed the expanded grounds, noted for terraced terrain and views of the Mississippi River.
The 62-acre cemetery is the burial place of approximately 28,000 people, including John Deere.
