Description
St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, built in 1860, is a freestanding T-plan structure with a double-height nave and transepts. The church features a pitched slate roof, ashlar limestone eaves brackets, and a bellcote with a rendered base. The rendered walls have limestone quoins and niches, while round-headed windows with limestone surrounds and stained glass decorate the interior. The church includes a timber gallery, carved Ionic columns, and a scissors-braced roof. The cemetery is set within enclosed grounds, with rendered walls and square-profile piers.
