Lakeside Cemetery – Libertyville – Lake County – United States

Lakeside Cemetery is located on the north side of Lake Street in Libertyville, Lake County, Illinois, overlooking Butler Lake. Platted in 1843, it is the oldest cemetery in Libertyville Township and among the oldest in Lake County; the earliest known burial dates to 1844. The approximately 15-acre cemetery contains several historic sections and the graves of many early Lake County settlers, including Libertyville pioneers.
