Description
Sarid Cemetery is located on a hill about 1 km north of the main entrance to Kibbutz Sarid, in the Jezreel Valley Regional Council, overlooking the valley from within Sarid Forest. ([news1.co.il](https://www.news1.co.il/Archive/0026-D-136830-00.html?utm_source=openai)) The present cemetery opened in 1948 and contains about 300 graves, serving members of the kibbutz and their families. ([news1.co.il](https://www.news1.co.il/Archive/0026-D-174616-00.html?utm_source=openai)) An earlier cemetery served Sarid from 1929 to 1948, and its graves were transferred to the current site in 1979.
