Hazel Wood Cemetery – Rahway – United States

Hazel Wood Cemetery is located at 64 Lake Avenue on the Rahway–Colonia border in New Jersey, within Union and Middlesex counties.

It occupies a 23-acre rural setting.

Organized on September 30, 1859, it recorded its first interment on January 18, 1860.

The grounds include the Gothic-style Vanderhoven Memorial Chapel, family lots, mausoleums, columbariums, and a section granted to Rahway in 1862 for Civil War burials.
