North Burial Ground – Providence – USA

North Burial Ground is a historic municipal cemetery at 5 Branch Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island.

Founded in 1700, it is Providence’s oldest common burial ground and is managed by the Providence Parks Department.

The cemetery covers approximately 113 acres and contains more than 40,000 gravestones.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, it features early graveyard sections, landscaped areas, winding paths, funerary sculpture, and mausoleums.
